Dear IWF members,
It is an honor for me to have been elected as your new President of the Spanish chapter of IWF and I want to thank each one of you for your trust.
I take this opportunity with a lot of enthusiasm and with all the commitment to continue working on the development of female talent, visibility, and leadership in Spain.
We are part of a prestigious international organization, with more than 7,000 diverse and accomplished women from 33 nations. We answer high-achieving women leaders’ need with a community of diverse thinkers. We are shaping a future in which leadership has no gender and the next generation is inspired and equipped to transform the world. The leadership of Helen Rule, our Global President and Stephanie Mathews O’keefe, our CEO, are an important source of inspiration for the Spanish chapter to continue promoting women’s leadership in Spain and championing the presence of women in leadership positions in all sectors.
My new board is made up of excellent women, who share and embrace IWF’s commitment and who will work along me to maintain the prestige and influence of this association in our country. We will work aligned with global IWF strategic objectives to boost engagement among our members and to enrich IWF brand awareness in the institutional, business, and social map of our country. We will continue building or brand positioning based on our most valuable assets, our members: You.
I would like to thank Nieves Briz and the outgoing Board for the great job done during their presidency, during one of the most complex moments we have experienced in the recent history of humanity. Nieves and team, you leave the bar very high.
It is a high pleasure for me to work and learn from women so professional, inspiring, and committed to the values of IWF to build a better world for all.
